Hey guys this is my first post since leaving the states, and I didn't really want to start the blog until I left so expect new posts alot more frequently.
It is amazing here. So much has already happened, I can't imagine how I'll be feeling after this trip. I've met so many kids so far, all of them being from around the US. I was surprised to meet a bunch of kids from Pac-10 schools.
Last night we all went out to Senor frogs, a bar about 5 minutes from The Atlantis. It was alot of fun and there were so many SAS kids there that you couldn't even meet them all if you tried.
Oh yeah, when we first got to the Bahamas, when we were stil in the airport, we met a girl named ashley from Wash. St. She came here alone and we took her with us to the hotel. She's awesome, Katey Scanlon and I have hung out with her the most so far. Tonight we have a cocktail party on the ship, then we are eating at Nobu, and then gambling for the rest of the night. Ill be rotating between the roulette and carribean stud tables.
The ship is enormous we can see it from the hotel and it looks insane. We move in tomorrow at 730 in the morning. Until then...

you are lucky, enjoy it
There is no better depart than Sea sailing. Your relatives and friends waving their arms farewell from the pier.
Wish you a happy voyage with my blessings.

We miss you here at home already! I keep wondering what you must be doing and how exciting things must be for you. Please keep up the blog - I think I've already checked it for posts 5 times in the last 24 hours! Mom
I'm so excited for you - I've been on the SAS website most of the evening checking all the blogs and trying to figure out if you've met these people. Also heard Rev. Tutu's speach. Some brillant student recorded it and has it in his blog. Keep us posted on what you're doing! Love you, Gram.
